Herbed Turmeric Crackers

Herbed Turmeric Crackers

Ingredients
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ground turmeric
  • 2 tsp coconut oil 
  • 3/4 cup water

Method
  1. Preheat oven to 160°c
  2. Combine flour, salt, basil, thyme and turmeric in a bowl.
  3. Add coconut oil then water a little bit at a time to achieve your desired consistency (not too sticky).
  4. Knead on a floured surface and roll thin.
  5. Cut into even strips and then cut into even rectangles or shapes you’d prefer. 
  6. Place on a lined tray and bake for around 30minutes until hard and beginning to go golden. Let cool
